arn't dangerous! ya looked like it was throwin more than small rocks 2 me. i'm sure that 1 of those lava bombs smackin sombodys ass would be a fantastic experiance! there is no way in hell i'd bring my kids up there. might as well let em play with rattle snakes or wrestle grizzly cubs.

I thought the whole experience was fantastic . So I am taking my children and husband back before March 2009 to experience Yasur and the Native villages and to see . If you could set yourself something special to see in your lifetime this is it. Sue

i was at thge Volcano on Fri 12th Sept 2008. The video is great but does not translate the sheer power of the eruptions and the sensation of feeling the energy that surrounds it and smelling the sulphur. Truely a fantastic experience and worth the visit..Sue McLeod QLD Australia

the 5 reasons why u sholdnt be there ontop of it
1:u could get hit by those lava bombs
2:u could get choked by those gasses seeping out
3:the pyroclast could choke u
4:a pyroclastic flow could come out at any second
5:lava flow could come without warining

1. if you have a guide they no all about the conditions
2. the govenment dont let you up above level 2
3. you stand 200 metres away
4. life time experience
5. if your in the right place you will be fine
