I'm a chevy fan, but this test is unfair, beacause the chevy is a 4x4 and the tundra is a 2x4.. so

i own a tacoma with rear dif lock. its an 07 and it came out of the factory like that- no custom work. you clearly don't know what you're talking about.

It's not how I think, its what i know. yes toyota is based in japan, but they are a global company, so is GM/ford/chrysler. many toyotas now are being built in north america, having higher domestic part content than that of gm's fords and chryslers. Our "domestics" import many cars/parts also. they outsource tons of work. Over the last two decades, toyota has spent more than $13 billion building factories in North America alone. But it has not opened an assembly plant in Japan since 1992.

Is that how all you import lovers think? toyota is based in japan, making them a japanese company. Ford and GM are based in the U.S. toyota doesnt pay near the amount of U.S. taxes that ford and gm pay. a loss to either ford or gm would be a traumatic loss to our country.

Toyota is not a Japanese company, GM, Ford and Chysler are not american, they are all global companies, their profits from any sale in any contry can go to any factory globally. They don't make money of us, they make us money

The Tundra is a very American truck, in fact isn't far behind the silverado in domestic content, Tundra (80%) Silverado (85%) the dodge ram which is not even considerd american cause it doesn't meet the government yardstick of having more then 75% domestic, the ram is only 68% domestic content
