Introduction to Tibetan Buddhist Debate
BackA brief introduction to the Tibetan Buddhist Debate style. Yes, I am the Challenger and the Defender...so yes, I am talking to myself and dancing with myself at the end. I know.
If there's interest, I'll do a couple of real debates with terms such as 'Manifest Phenomenon', 'Form', 'Permanent Phenomenon', 'Established Base', etc., etc.
This particular debate is meant as a teaching tool. The question is 'What is the difference between color and red?'
Since red is a color, but not all colors are red, the answer is 'Three Possibilities'. The Defender will have to give examples for all three possibilities and reasons, positive and negative, for those examples.
The three possibilities are:
1. Both - The Defender has to give an example that is both a color and red.
2. Color, Not Red - The Defender must give an example that is a color, but not red.
3. Neither - The Defender must give an example that is neither a color nor red.
As for video quality...I'm sorry that it appears 'muted'. In reality, I simply have no audio capabilities on my craptastic camera. (It's a basic Kodak digital camera, not a video camera.)

when you put your hands together in the praying position, the two thumbs are tucked in, like you're holding a jewel. then again, i started realizing after 1 minute that this doesn't matter because this isn't really anything about tibetan buddhism lol lol

funny, this was added on the 13th of april, its said that Buddhas days of enlightenment are from the 13th to the 15th of april,on these days buddha entered naravna after sitting under the bodhi tree for 3 yrs
