I can't really connect Ozzy to Taoism. I guess Ozzy is the "Prince of Darkness," and the Tao has light and dark sides. hmm.

LaoTzu, Chang Tzu, and Ozzy!

Thats the problem sir. tradition strayed from purity over 2,000 years ago. With the exception of the medicine way or shamanistic paths. Most taoists have not. I know of taoist priests who have abilities and knowledge that you do not normaly find among followers of other paths. some Native americans and chinese taoists have a lot in common. They don't rely on faith or hope. They simply know a truth. That their is an intelligence behind all we percieve(creator).

What do you know about Tao, huh?

What realy impresses me is that... many teachings in taoism are something I've been trying to tell for long. I was kinna surprised when I rad about Tao. Thats what I always wanted to claim about my spirituality., it is a way of life for a harmony with nature. I couldn't say there is a personal god but yet I named it the divine. Many things I believe were already part of taoism and I didin't know... Very very beautyful.

This path goes back 8,000 years at least. And makes more sense than all other religions. Put together. Because it is not a religion at all. It is a way of life. And the way of purity. I love lao tzu. But a common misconception is that he founde this philosophy. Whick isn't true. It goes back a long time. And I believe had ties with vedic schools of thought.

yes, like buddhism and confucianism
annunnemesis (November 11, 2008 at 6:06 pm)
I agree. I like buddhism and confucianism. But I think taoists display a more unified view of nature. And hold to purity as a way of life. rather than a goal to achieved. Live it. Be it. Do not reach for it. or it will elude you. Thats my take anyway. Taoism has survived many cycles of time. going back 8000 years in its earliest form.
