This is not "dancing with a fan", it is tai chi fan form - I'm learning it now. It's the same form that is being performed in the 2008 Beijing Opening Ceremonies!

Fan is a weapon in Tai Chi, it can be a shield too!
I am learning this form now, and not easy. Everybody need a lot of year traning to hit the level like in the video.

Its NOT dancing. It is Taiji and Wushu. If you notice, each section of the form starts with Taiji movement then does the same concept of movements in Kung fu/Wushu format. I learned the form about 5 years ago and loved it (too bad I haven't practiced it much since then...bad me...bad me!). Every aspect of Taiji in in this form, no doubt.
