I thought it was real good. As far as others saying same league as muay thai, which I also train, I can only reply that of course it's not the same...it's not supposed to be the same. Secondly, having people spar and then using a clip here and there from it does not usually work. A film has its own pace and is not really meant to be confused with actual reality. Rather, it is meant to assist the viewer to suspend reality and enjoy the artificial world created.
All in all, it was excellent!

stage combat now is obviously acting, i hate it no offense to anyone but in comparison to what i do Muay Thai its not in the official league.

The masking and napping is there, but without the intention it is kind of boring

Good choreograph, I liked it. Though I did see some air, and it would be nice if you used some acting to "spice" the whole thing up a bit. Otherwise, I really liked the brutality:)

The first priority of stage combat is that the actors are safe, not to make it as real as possible. This was very well done.

I don't know if you guys are told to do this, but I'm tired of seeing every shot land solid. in a real fight, not everything lands clean, usually if something lands clean it's over. I know people say well film and real life is different, but I thought actors are suppose to make it look as real as possible. If I was to film a scene I would just spar for real a few times and use the best one. For the typical acting style, you guys did a good job.

Simon Fon teaches at George Brown? I didn't know that.

I fight out of Windsor with Jamie Treschak... it means I'm ADC rather than FDC certified but that's a really talented guy you got there.

Kudos.
