Rowing Machine with Corona Discharge
BackThe rowing machine is connected to a generator so that pulling the oars generates 15,000 volts feeding into a vacuum-pumped pickle jar. Saint Elmo's fire is generated by the corona discharge within the pickle jar.

Imagine if all fitness equipment in gyms was set up to generate electricity! I'd be prepared to bet that those gyms would become auto sufficient! Personally I think all TV sets should be set up this way, like that people would have to work for the precious minutes of brainwashing that they love so much nowadays. Also, the obesity rate in countries like the US would probably plummet!
