this song really describes my feelings in the dark cold wintertime, when see all these happy couples buying gifts for christmas, kissing each other... its such a nice song but it always makes me cry because its a sad song too...

All that glitters is not gold, and sometimes the "happiness" is just for a season. A person's public face is not always the whole story. You might also be interested in Linkin Park's song "My December." I relate to your comment a lot. The Christmas Season is one of the lonliest seasons for many people. It is forced on you whether you are interested in being part of it or not.
