No, Jesus isn't ashamed of us and He is alive. I serve Him out of love, not fear. And I have a peace I can't explain to someone who doesn't love God. Myth. I think not. Over 500 people saw Jesus after he resurrected and ascended into Heaven. Well documented fact not just by believers either. I'm following Him. Challenge yourself to prove Jesus, God and Satan to be mythical by other means than opinion. You might find it fun and fascinating. I wish you well.

The same way every christian does.
JayeRo (November 17, 2008 at 5:58 pm)
EVERY Christian doesn't do that. You really shouldn't falsely accuse people you don't know. Apparently you've had bad experiences with Christians and I'm sorry about that. But don't judge us all the same. Christians aren't perfect. Only Jesus was.

My point was that every decent christian couldn't live by every verse in the bible. Most decent people will pick morals from the bible that suit their own moral standards.
God called for genocide in the bible and the slaughter of men, women and children, but abortion is wrong?
The truth will set you free my friend.

It's true every Christian can't live by every word in the Bible. But that's only because we aren't perfect. We don't pick scripture to fit our needs and discard the rest. We must believe and apply all of scripture by God's grace or none of it. As far as God calling for genocide, that's false. Did God commit Genocide by letting Jesus die? Of course not. You are either getting corrupt teaching or you have no personal relationship with Jesus. Truth will set YOU free also.

"...do not leave alive anything that breaths. Completely destroy them...as the Lord your God has commanded you..." Deuteronomy 20:16
Sounds like george bush but its your God.

Actually it sounds nothing like George Bush. There were reasons why God ordered Deut. 20:16. I wonder why you totally ignore how God used His only begotten Son Jesus to save the world. Oh well, I will not continue this discourse with you on this public page as it is not designed for such business. Bottom line. If you're correct in your position, I've lost nothing in my opinion but gained peace. But if you're wrong, I hope you like intense heat. Email me privately if you truly want to learn.

Hell might scare you into believing myths my friend but not me.Jesus would be ashamed of people like you if he were alive today.

Jesus himself didn't say it specifically. Jesus said to keep his commandments. God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one. What God says, Jesus says. There are many scriptures telling us to not join with the same sex. We are to love homosexual people & treat them with respect. I know homosexual people and I love them dearly and speak in love to them. If you want more detail, I will email you. There are too many scriptures to list here.
