There is no such thing as "The Protestant Way." You guys have almost as many denominations as stars in the sky, and each one is filled with people with different interpretations.

And still our focus in christ and the 4 Solas all together. As Christ judged the churches in revelation he will judge them nowadays. Ekklesia is a gathering. The catholic church turned into an idol in itself. I hear catholics talk more about the glory of the mother church than about Christ Jesus. The Kingdom of God is not of this world my friend, no matter how much gold you have on your doors. Martin Luther fixed the focus again, nothing more. We all point to christ, if not we will be judged.

The Church of Christ is as much as of this world also as was the Davidic Kingdom.

I would agree to a certain point that he tried to fix the focus and some problems: however, he himself lost the focus in the end.
