Positive & Negative, and the True Spiritual Balance as Key to Self Realization and Enlightenment
BackSpirituality and Positivity. As truth seekers and spiritual people, we learn to be more positive. However, times do come when we lose our positive attitudes and go towards the negative. This talk by Dr. Acharya Yogeesh gives tools, guidance, and gives us a better understanding to becoming positive again.

After losing our positive attitude, how can we come back to our positive self?
Sometimes we lose our positive outlook because something comes along the way to disrupt it. How do we come back to it? Most of the time people are both positive and negative.
When we are positive it means we are thinking the way we are supposed to think. Seeing things as they are makes us positive. Human tendency is to see things negatively. Even the most enlightened teachings start with the negative; like the idea of ahimsa; a stands for non and himsa stands for violence. The reason is that we have to first acknowledge our negativity in order to go beyond it. Only going through the violence of your self can you become non-violent. The same is with compassion; first you have to see your anger.
The positive is difficult to see. A glass half full is usually seen as half empty. Our thought process is negative. But being familiar with our negativity is a good thing because it leads you to your positive side. Once you are in the positive no one can take it away.
It is better to emphasize the positive in a negative situation in order to be of help to people not to dwell on their misfortunes. Being positive brings goodness. For learning purposes negativity can be a good thing, but one should remain in the positive in order to see it. Be witness to your negativity. Observe that those thoughts are not you. Send a message to yourself constantly. Think positive.
Being positive brings you higher into happiness. Always think you want happiness and good things to come to you. Just change the negative; divert your attention. Think about what your Guru said today, what Jesus said, and what Mahavira said, so you can make that transformation. Being aware and watchful can do this.

Dr. Acharya, What about people who are negative due to their brain activity or hormones that aren't secreting certain chemicals? It's hard to be positive when we identify ourselves with this material body. The root of all suffering is constant transmigration of the soul from one body to the other. So the ultimate solution for negativity is knowing thyself. Once your self-realized, nothing can really affect you or your brain.

i enjoyed your comments, there is something in your message that is more than the words you spoke. It is obvious you have a gift.
But i ask you one thing....
Why is there so much negativity in the modern world. Does this mean that we are taking the easy way out. Or is it that we cannot keep up with the pace of negativity, by creating positivity. Maybe that is why depression is on the increase... I don't know, you take time out to think these things, Food for thought?
But which Food?
