most stereotypes seem to be culteral inventions, rather than being objectively evident among different ethnicities by nature.

most people in the world that are uneducated or ignorant derive it from clinging to religions

Can't speak on the world, but it seems accurate for a large majority of America.

PLEASE DONT TAKE OFFENSE TO THIS:

it would seem that about 60% of blacks aren't as educated (this is not they own fault) however, some of our countries greatest minds are indeed black thus, the other 40% of blacks could easily out-smart 50% of whites (im white)
daswann14 (August 3, 2008 at 10:22 pm)
Name me one smart black (public figure, someone semi-famous at least) that was not a Christian. Off the top of my head I can't think of one. I know many brilliant blacks, but who are these countries greatest minds?

uhh... hmmm uhhh... the guy who did the voice for darth vader? jk, most of them are working for the FBI and NASA, so most of their names would be unknown... i can make up their names if you want...

I'm just saying that the only intelligent or publicized blacks are religious to maintain the seeming christian homogeneaity in the African American community. And as much as I hate to say this, at the current moment in time I don't think the intellectual black community is remotely close to being comprable to the 'white' one.
