They should've kept this part in later Papal "Inaugurations"-- hey, it deals with everything in life being temporary; which sort of keeps with post-Vatican II simplicity.

Not really any pope has the choice to choose a coronation or Inauguration. Though not all could be revived for it due to the loss of almost the whole of the papal court.
