Depends, it's a bigger neck, tighter string spacing and the low B can be hard to play- but It's all preferance, I personally prefer the 5.

Shit, sorry. I forgot he was playing the stick in this clip, so I was just thinking of his regular bass. =S
Anyway, yeah, it's a Chapman Stick. It's an instrument made for two-handed tapping.
Myung's has 12 strings.
