In my mind, Phil Ochs occupies a place at once thrilling, sad, inspiring, bitter sweet and more. He gave clear voice to my vague ideas. The sound of his voice, as well has the notes and words in his compositions, are an essential part of my personal history.

And but for computers, many, if not most, of the posters out here would never have heard Phil's music. The internet has done more for Phil's career than anything he could do in life. I think it was Pete Seeger who said if you can just give people the access to great music, they'll always manage to find and appreciate it.
