Yep the Catholics just went thru they're own cover up. Byrne also claimed he himself had to settle a score with a (now retired) priest who abused him when he was a boy. JW does sound like it's in severe crisis. Catholics at least have more mobility in their lives and are not excommunicated for dropping out the Sunday mass. Tho it's obviously not preferred conduct. heh

Yeah that's why Catholics rarely wave that banner anymore. But make no mistake, they've had more than there share of incidents. A nun once pulled an over-zealous kid to front of the class, pulled his head back by the hair, and holding a pair of scissors in her other hand, asked a class of 7 yr olds, if she should cut his tongue out. Not to mention that rape victims are not treated properly (search silent lambs) and cheating wives are told its because they didnt properly fulfil their wifely duties

youre right but they have mellowed some lol and at least they have limbo ..i just dont think dogma and not asking questions are things Jesus would be cool with also the idea that churches set themselves up as the way to salvation doesnt seem very christian like it sounds more culty

Roman Catholics may have mellowed some, but let's not forget they also believe they have the one true biblical interpretation; believe anything else at your own risk. Punishable by hell. Not a issue they throw in your face these days.

The amount of biased rubbish on these comments makes me so angry. "They" are not told the world itself will end soon, the present system of things will end and all those who God finds faithful will survive. It's only bad news if you are determined to go against all God tells us to do in the bible, the word of God.

The idea is that God is going to kill everyone who doesnt go along with what the jws interpret as the word of God jws believe they are the only true christians and their doctrine is false theyve predicted the end days and been wrong more than once
