It was a hindu fanatic arnot who said it jainism copied concept of karma. Which i dont believe is the case.
If you care to read enough here is what i mentioned for your quote indus valley
"For your information the vedas do mention about naked ascetics which are believed to be Jain monks by historians."
People can do anything extend their prejudices.. so i wouldnt be surprised..

Buddhist scriptures amply demonstrate that Buddha thought there was middle path possible to attain true knowledge enlightenment, one between Jainism and Hinduism. Jainism being more rigorous on one's self. Infact it is documented that he was naked for a while wandered empty stomach and did great penance but it took his focus out of enlightenment and he felt he could better concentrate when he was relaxed that his the whole sitting under the ashoka tree;s logic emerged

this youre actually right about but that has nothing to do with central concepts suck as karma, re-incarnation, moksha etc.... what buddhism did the choose the middle path in sense of-jainism rejected social life, hinduism advocated social life and buddhism chose the middle path.

and you made the comment earlier about jainism coming before buddhism, and since buddhism has a lot in common witj jainism, does this mean it took from jainism? or are you being specifically bias towards hindus here? i mean there seems to be quite a view jains entiertaining such views as "buddhism stole from jains". i would not be surprised if you made the same ridiculous claims. under your logic, you should though.

you accuse me of deceit lol. trying to defend evil jainism with your hippy nonsense is deceit. I don't need to go to Gujarat to know the evils of jainism.
kemeticsungod221 (October 17, 2008 at 2:09 pm)
why are you putting down jains? you sound like an insecure dumb ass. evil people exist in all religions but i dont see jains murdering people like hindus, muslims and even buddhists do.
arnotkaling (October 18, 2008 at 12:56 am)
jainism is a murderous religion that is pretending to be a peaceful religion because now they are a pathetic tiny minority. This wasn't the case about a thousand years ago when jains used to murder Hindu priests. 'hindus murdering' lol when was this, otherwise hindus would have killed jains for all the problems they have caused.
