Namaste! Jai Jinendra!
Introduction:
A veggie among a veggie, or more apt to say a "jain", finds it often difficult to cook the luscious gravy vegetables, as most of them include onions, garlic, potato, etc. which are taboo to jain food. Having faced this problem with many people and relations whom I have invited, it inspired me to come out with an effort to cook their favourite sabzis, sans onions, etc.

err, Inderneil, The Swastika actually came from the pre-vedic religions of the area of now day India, Pakistan, Bhutan, and southern China. It started out as a symbol of the sun, and strength, eventually it became a symbol of peace. The sun worshipping religions of south and central america had similar symbols, but they In fact were not swastikas. You need to do more research before you go around talking trash. also, the celts had a symbol called the triskellion, that served the same purpose.

Swastika was along waaayyy before hitler and represents so many aspects of so many religions.
The swastika is the holiest of all jain symbols and will not be harmed by the holocaust just cause someone else liked the symbol and wanted to make it look like he was doing something right

The pre jain and vedic use of the swastika was a symbol for the sun, and strength, which is what Hitler originaly meant to use it for, He believed he was doing right by it, and not attempting to perverse it, even though he ended up doing so. Although, it is a sign of peace. And no one should allow Hitler's use of it to destroy or hide the original meaning of the swastika. I would use the symbol myself for its true purpose, but I live in america and would be judged as a neo-nazi for it.
