i think nanorobots are the key. they could constantly maintain and repair the brain and CNS, as well as the vital organs.

there r 2 reasons mainly why ppl dont want to die : hunger 4 knowledge...or just fear
and i would disagree that immortality is unnatural if we ever reach it.. just think about it like an ultimate step in the human evolution..maybe its something we force upon our selves BUT we r a part of nature so technicly whatever we do is still evolution and it wont get less/more pure without/with our interference

we allready are immortal. once you relize who you are...one infinate consiousness expireincing itself. consciousness it the ground of ALL being.

I am not extremely religious, so this is not going to be about how immortality is a "slap in the face" to God. I think that being immortal would be interesting...to a certain extent. More, I think the IDEA is interesting. However, I would not want to live forever. As someone else said, it would get boring. Also, don't forget about the overpopulation problem. Imagine if everyone stopped dying. We would be in a heap of trouble then. Preserving memories and identities...where would you keep it all?

why want to live forever? wouldnt it get booring? and we shouldnt change the nature, it was meant to be this way, being born, live and die. If you believe in something beyond death then you can assume that our life on earth is just a part of the journey. Death shouldnt be something to fear, we fear it only becasue we dont know whats beyond it.

yea dude i have always had problems with death, its just freaks me out, just to wonder what is beyond this, just looking for a healthy outlet for all this emotion
