Recently a Catholic supporter & youtube video poster said as he read from the writings of pope john paul II: "Jesus entrusted Mary to save the Apostle John ..." He stated he was reading from the written words of the pope. There is not, nor has there ever been scripture to support pope jp II allegation that mary saved or was entrusted to save anyone, yet this man, in his deep love for mary, not Jesus the Son of God, made such a heretical remark. Did the pope worship mary? Yes. Do you?

He didn't ask them to call him "father", he pointed out that he brought them to the knowldge of Christ. The became "born again" because he preached the gospel, he wasn't their actual father. Sorry, you are reading into the scripture to support church heresies.

We never said she gave birth to God the Father. She gave birth to Jesus only, I repeat ONLY THE SON. Jesus is just as much God as the Father. She gave birth to the Son, and he is fully God. So, she gave birth to God the Son.

Why not... If Jesus is God, and Mary gave birth to Jesus, then she gave birth to God. I don't see why this is not logical. Jesus is fully God.
