BackThis is a short video taken during a trip to the Grand Canyon National Park Tuweep Area - which is on the North rim of the Grand C This is a short video taken during a trip to the Grand Canyon National Park Tuweep Area - which is on the North rim of the Grand Canyon.
It is accessed via 67 miles of unimproved, primitive roads, the last 14 miles of which are 4WD high clearance vehicle territory.
There are no facilities anywhere along the access road - so be prepared with lots of water and plenty of fuel.
"If you pack it in you pack it out"
There is no skyglow around this area and it is worth the 3+ hour drive to get there. No crowds (and hopefully the remote location and lack of facilities will keep it that way), no barriers or obstructions.

Thank you for the compliments! I overnighted there to get some large format photography of the northern Grand Canyon - and just to take in the peace & quiet and unobstructed sky viewing. It's a very special place that I hope stays just as it is.
