Silliman University Psychology 24 Counseling Dyad: Sex adict

Back

One month prior to coming to therapy, Cholo was charged of sexual harassment. As of the first session, he is still working as a bouncer in a night club. He came to therapy after realizing that he needs help in managing his problems. He reported that it's hard for him to control himself especially when he is drunk. He also thinks and admits that he is a sex addict and reports that this behavior gets worst when he is drunk. Furthermore, he reports that his wife left him because of his behavior. He is willing to change his negative behaviors and start a new life but finds it hard to do so. I gave him an article which he can reflect on and will be evaluated next counseling session.
