EDIT: His teeth AREN'T too long. If they were, the 5 different vets in 3 different states I have been to would have told me when they checked out his mouth. The "quick" in his mouth (the gums between the teeth) is pretty high, and cutting his teeth any shorter would possibly mean cutting into his gums.
He has plenty of lab blocks and chew toys, and he is one chewin' @$$ rastard.

his teeth are just fine chill out ppl. when you reflect a rats lips and gums back it makes their teeth appear longer than they are. Yes rats like to gnaw on things but in general rats DO NOT need to have their teeth filed or clipped, they keep their own teeth in check by simply grinding them on each other.. Plz read a book and try educating yourself on rat care before passing off judgment on other ppl's pets.BTW you are a very lucky owner he really trusts you :)
