What Amr Khaled says here is correct about the heart of God: God loves forgiveness!
But, is forgiveness received at the last day? Forgiveness is opened to a person when they accept God's gift of Salvation. Then, their lives change to reflect the nature of God: this means love for all other men (no matter their religion or nation or gender) and to love God first above all things.
This salvation comes by Jesus Christ, who died on the cross as a sacrifice for all sin, for all who believe.

According to Bible, Matthew 10 v 34, what you are saying has nothing to do with the Christian Faith (which I do admire from a different angle):
"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword."

I said that the method I admire Christianity is different. A two millenniums of a historical perspective within a nutshell of a high emotion that flourishes a reality beyond everyday thoughts. Yet most people know nothing about their own religion nor they read their books.
That is why I did quote Matthew's and I do have no intention of saying "this is better than that and that is more right than this."
