Heya Máire!
I thought you might like to know that we viewed your these 2 videos in my Drawing II class at Purdue University during our exploration of color exercises. Neat, huh?
As for the video, I thought it did a great job of showing the Fauvist movement. As a critique, I did find the assortment of image transitions (rolling pages, flying cubes, etc) a bit distracting and the text was sometimes hard to read or shown too quickly. But otherwise it did its job well - thanks for posting this!

Hey Bandrik. So you're a fine arts student at Purdue? Nice. Glad the video was useful in your class' exploration of colour in art. The Fauvists are most certainly major exponents of the use of primary colours. Sorry you were distracted by the transitions, the video was made as a whimsy rather than an academic piece, but really glad it was useful and many many thanks for your comment. Very best regards to you and your fellow art students x

Thank you for compiling and posting such a nice video of fauvism; very much appreciated.
I just bought a book about this over the internet, and was a bit dissapointed with the lack of images, which was also in black & white, in it. Luckily it only cost 0.01c excluding postage.
