A multi media research project on the theme of "the gaze". An attempt to represent in music and video the gaze, or rather the absence of it.
What is it that is incorporated in the passive gaze?
Analyzing the human behaviour and its daily and unconscious attitudes we've found it interesting to focus on certain "dead points" of the gaze. Or rather, those particular moments during the day when the gaze is vacant, despite eyes being open.
That dead point which is placed between reality and virtuality, body and soul, space and time, ignoring optical reality and projecting mental images. It's like to be and not to be in a place. It's a moment hanging in empty space. From the analysis of this state we are inspired to create a multi media performance.
