I used the word fact to describe Darwin's theory of evolution through natural selection. That is a fact. And I am not 100% sure about the theory of relativity...but I believe it is considered fact, too. Theories that are tested, tested, tested, never refuted, and overwhelmingly supported become fact. It is difficult to call a psychological construct a fact, but the theories presented by Buss are not very well explained by any other field other than EP.

I agree, EP provides good explanations for some constructs but the field is in definite need of more research.
But about theory and fact: Newtonian physics was fact till relativity. Now it's quantum mechanics. Facts, then we can say, are continually changing.

I agree that EP does need more and better research. But the subject itself has the greatest potential.

You have it wrong. We don't do things to reproduce. Men don't think, "That woman has a 7-10 hip-to-waiste ratio, and therefore she'll bear many kids." Rather, those men who like the 7-10 ratio, have more kids, since those women are more fertile. We're the ancestors of those men and women, as they had more children. Male children inherit the sexual desire for the ratio, and female children inherit the ratio. We fuck these women because we think they're hot, not to reproduce.

Wrong again. You're theory (whatever it is) is shit. Theories of EP are backed up with enough evidence to suggest that it is a lot more than just a theory. This is kind of like when people say Darwin's theory is just a theory. It's not. It is now considered fact in the scientific community because of overwhelming evidence to support it.

Yet these theories and ideas are still not refer to ask FACT. There is a obvious evidence is scholarly articles when every author stats, "out theory was (or wasn't) support. But they never make claims about fact. Example the THEORY of relativity. There is a ton of proof but still only a theory.

Hahahahah that's pathetic and shows how little you truly know if you believe there are facts in this world especially in science! True Aristotle's science is fact! Oh wait that proved that one wrong.. Oh yes! Particle physics indeed a fact! Oh wait there is wave theory now... Oh well...
