Ego comes in many forms.. but here's the greatest example. Rich people who think they are better than others. They think they have a special gift that others don't have. When in fact, the truth is, they've adapted to other crooks around them and they don't mind overcharging and ripping people off and buying things from the poor for pennies on the dollar. To the point they forget how to be humane to all people. We are all created equal. Stop oppression!You're causing it. Hold yourself accountable

The summary of ego psychology is completely inaccurate, and I think would be insulting to most real ego psychologists.

This is a completely inaccurate presentation of psychoanalytic ego psychology. What it calls "ego psychology" is really something more like ego-supportive counseling. Ego psychology itself is very pure and rigorous, almost the opposite of what is described here.
