that guy is christopher mayhew, he was some sort of television personality or something who took mescaline on film for the BBC...something like that. this video shows an interview with him reflecting on the experience years later.

actually they are probably right theres no E at the end ..
anyhow, watts was on top of it but he started abusing alcohol in his later years .His friends ran to india to find someone spiritual to bring back in hopes to sober him and be a good influence. Well they found Sunyata a simple hermit whow as enlightened, yet Alan died at that time. They brought Sunyata back and thats where i met him and meditated at Alans house boat durring 79-83
