I read somewhere that Hu is a prefix in the word Human meaning God. So the word Human literally translates to God-man so that means that together we are God-men! It also says that the sound wo in the word woman means Womb. So in essence woman means a man with a Womb, but I wouldn't let that divide us as sexes. I actually feel that we as people are the same despite our gender or our behaviors.

I read a book that said that the sound Hu was a prefix in the word Human. It literally translates to God-man so in essence we are God-men! It also says that the sound wo in woman is a prefix meaning womb. which was to mean that women were men with a womb (Womb-men). However I don't mean to suggest anything sexist by that... I'm clarifying what I've experienced!

I got into Eckankar when I was in the 8th grade in 1969. I still chant the HU now for 39 years. It's as beautiful now as ever. The experience is the same. It's ALIVE. Life never ages. Truth never ages. It simply IS what it IS.
