Architecture, a translation of Music
BackA concoction conceived by analysing a segment of a score entitled "Fantasia on a theme by Thomas Tallis", composed by Ralph Vaughan Williams in 1910*. The idea is that Architecture can be seen as a translation of music. In this video there are two components, music and form.
Although the music reflects Purism and the forms reflect Deconstructivism, they were born from the same Mother. A sort of Kane & Abel if you like. However, in lieu of conflict and war, the emphasis here pertains to Unity*.

Thanks man. As i was saying before, the footage has a lot missing due to it being rushed. I plan to re-make the video with sound samples and more experimental camera work, light etc..
I exported the footage from Adobe Premiere as a small WMV (13MB) file for uploading. The final video was exported as an AVI (750MB).
I also plan to produce a lot more of this sort of medium.
Peace

ps
what format did you export it as?
i exported to .MOV (quicktime) and i had to save it as rerally crap quality so that the file size was not too large, even then it was over 100mb and took 5 or 6 hours to upload (i have very slow upload speed!)

i like it.
it takes ages for the sound to begin, is that correct?
your project was very conceptual / theoretical wasnt it?!

Thanks for sharing Man,Really enjoyed seeing your work, the horizonal tracking instantly reminded me of the grooves in a Vinyl record. The rectangular boxes/lines reminded me of old Galvioli organ sheet music-had holes punched out likeit, wound up on Jackards.
PS, Have you hea of a small programme calld SUPER, it's free download & converts any file to anyother file, eg; flv, to wav or avi, just Google 'free file converter super'.
Let me know when you've done more,Proud of ya Man.
