BackFrom the 2000 production-Judas Death.This excerpt is from my friend Aspenas:"from the beginning, Judas warns Jesus about what he is doing as if he was trying to open Jesus' eyes to what's likely to come. Also, he "sings" that he did what Jesus wanted him to do. That is definitely something clear even in the Bible. It was all planned".His resolution is surprising.This is sure to stir some responses.

Honestly, though he gives a spectacular performance, I'm not too fond of Judas' voice.

Jerome Pradon (who plays Judas in this production) actually does have a really good voice. However, by his own admission, this role was too high for his vocal range. If you hear him sing other roles in other musicals, you might be pleasantly surprised by his voice:-)

I agree with you, in the emotional state Judas was here he couldn't sing well, he was just too desperate and out of mind to do it. It pains me hear Jerome in this scene because he puts so much effort and emotions here that it's really dificult to see, I can feel his pain. It's like he's going to hung himself on real and just not in the movie.

He dosent he is just more of a musical theature voice and this is a rock opera so you end up screaming because your not used to it...
