Kevin Chan Cross Training and Wing Chun
BackI trained in Wing Chun Kung Fu, and this is a low-key promo video that I shot for Kamon Wing Chun Federation.
Master Kevin Chan, featuring heavily in the first half, is one of the most respected and lethal martial artists in the world and I'm privileged enough to have been trained by him.
He has a philosophy of incorporating other martial arts in with traditional Wing Chun to create more rounded martial artists.

the difference is that the eye strikes, throat strikes and knee smashes are the bread and butter of wing chun - you fight how you train. wing chun is effective in the street, but is not great in the ring. other styles excel in the ring because that's how they were developed.

i think it's more likely because most wing chun practitioners don't do contact sparring. kamon does do contact sparring and milling.

The art of ju-jitsu crushed the other fighters as expected.
Bare n.h.b. Wingchun was not allowed in and it still isnt. to use wingchun you have to be devoid of all thought or conciquence, rules make this impossible. On t.v.
you can,t have people poking the eyes then doing a (standing twist break) on some other guys neck and then punch the dying persons neck on the floor. not yet any way
