BackThe year is 1692 and five families with the power of witchcraft have formed a covenant of silence to protect them. I agree with everyone that Steven would make a good Jacob, but you also gotta remeber he's not really a BIG actor and I actually heard he did audition and they turned him down, he doesnt a have that quality that Jacob has, so they went with Michael Copon and he made it.

i like steven strait and all but the thing is we have already seen taylor play as jacob and i think that wood just be wierd. it wood be like taking robert out and putting some one in his place wen we have already seen one movie with him. i think they should just keep it the way it is.

yea but u also hav to consider the fact tht in new moon jacob grows up alot and i love taylor and all i think hes a great actor but i think it would be better to play the movie in the eyes of the book

I have nothing against Taylor he is perfect for the First movie Twilight cuz he got such a cute baby face, but when it becomes to Jacob on New moon Steven strait is just the right person to role play i mean look at him!!! freaking yummyful!! and true he is 22 but he got the body for it he it tall enough i mean his perfect! i mean thats how they described him in the second one his lot bigger and i can't picture Taylor older looking

Taylor Lautner will still be playing the role of Jacob. if not, it will still be NOT Steven Strait.. although Steven Strait is my celeb crush!! why? because in the twilight book, it says that Jacob is 15 years old!! and Steven, well, Steven looks like his early twenties. i totally want Steven to be Jacob, but that would just ruin the whole film. I admit, Steven is too old for the role of Jacob. He's 21 right now, turning 22 on March!!
