Troparia at Wedding
BackThe troparia are sung as the newly crowned couple is led around the tetrapod by the priest.
O Lord, O Lord, look down from heaven and see and visit this vinyard and perfect this vine which Your right hand has planted.
O Holy martyrs, who fought the good fight and received your crowns. Entreat the Lord that He will have mercy on our souls.
Glory to You, O Christ our God, the apopstles' boast, the martyrs joy, whose preaching was the consubstantial Trinity.
Rejoice O Isaiah, a virgin is with child and shall bear a Son, Emmanuel. He is both God and man, and Orient is His name. Magnifying Him we call the virgin blessed.
