As is typical of all attacks on people who oppose the global warming hysterics, its attack the man, repeat the mantra. You didn't hear a single word of what he said, only what you wanted to hear. Watch the video again, this time with your I-pod off and myspace updating in the background.

Thats a good point about NSW and wind farms. Denmark gets 20% of it's electricity from windfarms - respect!
I'm not sure where people get this idea that there is "no scientific evidence for AGW". I would really like to believe that AGW is a scam..a hype..but as an open minded person looking at what gets published, it is over overwhelmingly supporting AGW. I haven't found a single argument against AGW that can withstand scrutiny.

this is not evidence against AGW. He talks mainly about money/kyoto etc - there is a brief graph of geological time and temp. It is based on an outdated paper from 1990, which itself only considered the temperature in parts of Europe. Years later, good estimates of global temperature for the last 1000 years have been agreed on by amost everyone, which show the last 10 years much warmer than anything before. I'm not sure what else could count as 'evidence' in video.

There is yet to be a wind farm built that has produced more dollars worth of electricity than it cost to build the windmills in the first place. Denmark did it as a feel-good publicity stunt with there citizens tax money.

your criteria : 1) "five hundredths of a degree" what does that mean? precision in models? You are ignoring the fact they all consistently show a warming *trend* 2)warming in the next thirty years based on projected greenhouse gas emissions" - let me get this right, the earliest possible time you could even consider changing your mind is 2038? 3) "how the negative effects of this warming are outweighing the positive"..so you accept that there are positive effects of AGW (ergo you accept AGW ???)
