First off global warming is a bunch of bull i live in Indiana and we got 22 inches of snow a week before thanksgiving. Also if we spend our government money and tax dollars on climate control our country will become bankrupt because of the shitty economy.

"Climate scientists often find their work challenged by all manner of people, from political leaders and fossil fuel proponents to the person-on-the-street. Never mind that the findings have been worked through the rigorous and sometimes drawn-out peer-review process.
If the results have significant implications -- such as rising sea levels, increased cyclone intensity, bleached coral reefs, and prolonged droughts -- the anti-climate science brigade will dismiss the work as ...

Climate change can't happen without loosing our existing economies.
Climate change is inevitable, and requires the loss of about 30% of existing Earth's population.
This causes various planetary "instabilities".

Proponents had to change 'Global Warming' to 'Climate Change' because they don't know what direction things are going to go. Kucinich's background in Arts (not Science) lends to this ignorance.
