yes infact you can control your ipod with the included remote, the belt will also virate to the beat of the music! wow!

I think it might be a better idea to apply this to a belt, it seems that a user can yank the unit off... also is this waterproof? Instead of getting current from 24V cells directly and get 23 -> 22 -> 21V....as the power drops, you can use a 3.7V lithium polymer battery (one of those in ipod shuffles) and build an 8X charge pump out of capacitors and NPN transistors, 1208 size of course :), I think I might design a board using full SMD parts :)

In order for that to happen, a serious PCB design needs to be created; also, a new shell for the remote needs to be produced. It's easily something that can take hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars just to have a prototype run created. If anyone is interested enough, feel free to write me - otherwise, get yourself a soldering iron and I can send you the schematics if you are interested
