you replied because you read something that evoked some ideas in you. doesn't matter how "deeply" you got the actual meaning the teller of that line truly meant by saying it as long as you 'thought' something ... that is what we all do, and "communication" can be erratic no matter if it is via the internet ("digitalized") or in a face to face manner! worst case, imo, is when you talk to people who think just like you and say the same thing too, but there is still miscommunication going on!
