so true.. I think it was Pope paul vI that said the sin of the 20th century was excessive wealth. the constant lust for material possessions. this is surely rampant in the US. 1% of the population has more wealth than the lower 50%. it wasn't earned.

yes that is asinine. the church knows very well that being gay was never an issue.. it was sex in the worship of pagan gods that was the issue. sodom & gomorrah had nothing to do with homosexual sex. abortion is the failure or parents. passing a law won't stop abortions. if u think it will u are foolish. abortions are evil but like so much of american life people think a law will solve the problem so they won't have to deal with it themselves.

oh well..if global warming isn't addressed first there won't be a world left to have babies in.. if u don't want abortion teach your sons and daughter to respect sex and what the consequences are of sex. don't dump it on the government by expecting a law to solve the problem. it is the job of parents to teach their kids the moral and biological issues of sex. if u want familes then act like it and don't occupy yourselves with material goods etc.. as a catholic I hate narrow minded thinking.
