This song has more in common with THE BEACHBOYS (especially harmonically) and with string arrangements made famous by the master arranger Jack Nitzche, and with the wall of sound of phil spector, than with the overproduced mess of brit-pop known as the bungholes, for which the lusciously and liltingly melodic, the unabashedly upbeat and fun ELO are most often and erroneously compared.

Man this brings back memories! Ive always loved ELOs music ever since I heard them in the 70s.
