Paradise Point
BackCalifornia Travel Tips host Veronica Hill takes you on a San Diego beach vacation to Paradise Point Resort and Spa.
It's one of the most unique San Diego hotels you'll find, recently remodeled in a Bali Modern-French Polynesian design.
If you want to be in the center of action during your next San Diego Beach Vacation, check out Paradise Point Resort and Spa, located beside many of the city's major attractions. Sea World is just 5 minutes away, and San Diego Zoo is about 15 minutes down the road.
Hi, I'm Veronica Hill with California Travel Tips. Join me as I explore this private 44-acre island hideaway, complete with its own mile of sandy beach, gorgeous tropical gardens and world class spa.
Located 15 minutes from San Diego Airport in beautiful Mission Bay, this sprawling haven of beach bungalows and garden suites was renovated in 2001 with a Bali Modern design.
You'll feel like you've arrived on Fantasy Island as you explore the lush trails, lagoons and bridges that lead to your room. Each suite is spacious, clean and comfortable with lovely views of the gardens or bay.
Once you've unpacked, enjoy a swim in one of five heated pools on the property, enjoy an exotic Balinese massage at Spa Terre, or head to the full-service marina for a day of sailing lessons. The concierge can also arrange a visit to the city's top attractions, including Sea World or the San Diego Zoo.
San Diego's sunsets are amazing, and I can't think of a better place to enjoy them than with a Mai Tai at Paradise Point's Barefoot Bar & Grill, followed by a gourmet seafood dinner at Baleen, the resort's signature restaurant.
If the night's still young, head back to your bungalow and enjoy a bonfire on the beach. Just don't forget the marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers!
Tip: Marshmallows and skewers are available at the resort's gift shop.
Next time you're planning a San Diego Beach Vacation, consider a visit to Paradise Point. It's a tropical getaway that you're sure to remember.
I'm Veronica Hill and that's you're California Travel Tip.

This place is great! I have been there many times (even back when it was the Princess) and always had a fantastic time. Almost every room is seconds from the beach, which is much less crowded than the nearby SD beaches. Forget the spa and get outside! I highly recommend it. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for commenting! Glad you enjoyed your stay. We sure did! You can practically walk to Sea World, and the pools were incredibly warm! You could see the steam coming off the water.

This looks like a very interesting place. Next time I am in SD, I will try to book a room here!
