his point, in lesser words is how its pretty pathetic we idolize those who can fuck up and be forgiven and yet when we or someone we know fucks up we have to work our ass off to make up for it. National Disgrace exposin the comedy of how celebrities fall prey to the media's exposure of their most emberrasing and outrageous behavior. I'm not here to judge hell just like many i want to be entertained. but what is the cost of our entertainment. as we watch the britney spears, the paris hiltons fall into a world full of shit. but hell at least they have the money & influences to get out of tight situations. while we have to work our asses off to pay for our troubles.

I don't see why everyone thinks that is the case. It is about the culture we live in where their actions are entertainment. We seem to love hearing the stories. We reward celebs for acting like this. That is the point of the line "as American as apple pie and embarrassment". I am not trolling, I see where you are coming from, but I think it is more about the audience that craves the stupidity. You never hear see a headline about celeb X going to church, why is that? We get what we ask for.
