I hate how my beliefs are being taken by vile hate mongers and are used as symbols to associate with that belief of neo-Nazism. So I believe, Odin created us as kin to him, not slaves to him. Since we're not slaves, I'm sure the allfather would drink and eat with us as we would with him as equals and if Odin regards us as equal than why can't we regard eachother as equal.

What makes you think all people are equal in the natural world? If all tribes are equal, why don't all people have the same beliefs and values?

I do not believe we are all equal in the sense that, some people can run the 10K.. but I cannot but I do believe on the whole that all humans are equal as a species.

We're all human, of course. However, this concept of universal egalitarianism is a bit unsettling. It's the sort of thing we see from evangelical Christians. I do not believe the Aesir and Vanir are the Gods and Godesses of Ethiopians or Chinese, they have their own beliefs. These differences (inequalities) are important. With that said, I'm sick of people using Asatru to justify white supremacism.

I consider the Gods and Godesses to be an archetype for my ancestors. Who Woden is to me may be different to you, doesn't make him any less real to either of us.

Just as the northern European tribes were diverse in their practise and beliefs, Asatru today should respect difference. What my tribe does may be different to yours, we have no need to fight.
