The music is the composition "Liebesfreud" of the Viennese composor and violinist Fritz Kreisler living from 1875-1962. Since Vienna was one of the main centers of art nouveau I thought a contemporary accompaniment would be nice.

It sure looks great. Is all of Riga this beautiful or did your city suffer much from the war and the communist occupation?

I'm not living in Riga - I was there for holidays while travelling through the baltic countries.
As far as I know there has been a lot of damage from the war and the communist regime didn't care too much to conserve these precious buildings of the "capitalist" era.

At 01.17 there is a very cool helmetted face.

You can find the helmetted face in Strelnieku iela 4a. It is a detail at the base floor of the 1905 errected building which now houses the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.
