Anglican archbishop backs partial Sharia in UK - 08 Feb 08
BackThe head of the church of England has called for some aspects of Islamic law to be implemented in Britian.
Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams said British Muslims should be allowed to have marital and financial matters dealt with by a Sharia court.
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown immediately rejected the suggestion.
Dr Mohammad Hashim Kamali, professor of Islamic Law, discusses the issue.

if u have a problem with our all ready over tollerent view including tollerence on people who speak against the idea then u should go live in an other country, u dont see us going to iran and asking them to change there laws, so dont try it here. we had religion influence law before in out country also known as the inquisition, and we all know how well that went.

Most Muslim immigrants in the West are nothing but ungrateful hypocrites; they left their countries to escape from poverty, illiteracy and oppression, and most of them could care less about religion. Those who do well have no issues with the West and they are usually grateful, those who fail try to hide their anger, animosity and frustration behind the banner of religion. But the reality is that they feel that if they can't have it then they will just spoil it for everybody else.

If they wish to be ruled by sharia law they should move to a country that practice them.
I'm glad it hasn't made it to Canada yet. Stupid law, any "provisions" being made by the law is not equal for all.
